David K. Stein

Mr. Stein, a principal in the firm, practices in the area of Personal Injury, General Business Law, Administrative Law with an emphasis in Mortgage and Banking Law. He also practices in the areas of Consumer, Employment and Business Litigation; Real Estate and General Business Representation. Mr. Stein was also a Hearing Officer for the State Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors and State Board of Architects.

Mr. Stein has also served as General Counsel to a national mortgage lender.  His responsibilities included advising on consumer law, mortgage compliance, policy and planning issues.

As an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Ohio State University College of Law from 1991 to 1994, he instructed first and second year law students on the fundamentals of legal research and writing.

Formerly, Mr. Stein was an associate attorney at Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn where he practiced law in the area of Civil Trial, including commercial, construction and insurance defense litigation, together with management representation in labor and employment law.

Mr. Stein is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Florida, the Supreme Courts of Ohio and Florida, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States District Court, Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio.

Mr. Stein is a member of The American Bar Association, The Ohio State and Florida Bar Associations, The Columbus Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of American and The Ohio Trial Lawyers Association.
