Columbus Ohio Attorneys File Lawsuit Against U.S. Xpress, Inc.
We have brought suit in federal court against employers who refuse to pay proper overtime compensation as required by federal law. In Margaret Joann Neff, et al., v. U.S. Xpress, Inc., et al., we allege that a multinational transportation company failed to properly classify its employees as entitled to overtime pay and failed to pay that required overtime pay. This lawsuit, filed in the Southern District Court of the State of Ohio, is pending at this time.
Stein Chapin & Associates LLC is also prepared to assist workers regardless of how they are paid. For example, in Philip Nicholson, et al., v. U. S. Xpress, et al., a case we recently filed in the Southern District Court of Ohio, we are asserting claims by truck drivers who state they were not paid for each of the miles they drove on behalf of their employer. These truck drivers were only paid a set mileage rate from each location where they drove instead of being paid for each and every mile actually driven.
